With its heavy gauge steel construction and welded assembly, custom designed and integral electronic control unit, and simple anti-vibration mounts, this unit has extremely low noise levels, making it probably the quietest of its kind on the market.

The units work by introducing a measured amount of air into the dwelling at a slight pressure which forces out moisture laden air through gaps and pores in the fabric of the property - no dwelling is perfectly airtight. This creates orderly air changes without making the dwelling cold and reduces the moisture level in the air which will restrict mould growth. This type of ventilation is generally referred to as positive input ventilation.

The incoming air is filtered to remove dust and even most pollen grains - a bonus for the hay fever sufferer.

As the air passes through the loft it warms up - through solar gain and heat from the dwelling below.  We estimate that in winter between one quarter and one half of the cost of heating up the ventilating air is saved in this way.

To maintain optimum performance we recommend that the filter is changed on an annual basis.  The filter can be changed without tools.

It may be easily mounted in the loft across a pair of joists on two wooden battens.  A set of anti-vibration mounts is supplied.
